Have a business idea that solves a real problem?

The Blue Ocean Student Entrepreneur Competition gives high school students from around the world a chance to turn an idea into a business pitch and compete on an international stage.

The competition is completely online and free to enter. Pakistani students are eligible.

What is the competition?

The Blue Ocean Competition is an entrepreneurship competition for high school students.

You do not need to own a company or have an established startup. You need an idea and a clear explanation of how it solves a problem.

You can participate individually or with a team of up to five students.

What do you have to do?

First, you complete the competition's free online mini-course.

Then, you develop your business idea and create a 3 to 5 minute video pitch.

Your pitch should explain:

• What problem are you solving?
• Who has this problem?
• What is your solution?
• How does your business work?
• Why would people choose your solution?

Your pitch must be submitted in English.

Who can participate?

The competition is open to:

• High school students worldwide
• Students aged 14 to 18 who are homeschooled
• Individual participants
• Teams of up to five students

Students from Pakistan are eligible.

What can you win?

The competition offers several cash prizes:

🥇 First Place: $1,000

🥈 Second Place: $750

🥉 Third Place: $500

🏆 People's Choice Award: $750

There are also regional awards worth $500, including an Asia and Oceania award.

Every student who submits a pitch receives a Certificate of Participation.

Deadline

February 21, 2027

The deadline is 11:59 PM in your local time zone.

The winners will be announced on May 13, 2027.

Why should you apply?

You do not need a perfect business plan or an existing startup.

This competition is a chance to take an idea, understand the problem behind it, and learn how to communicate your solution.
